The Give Where you Live Foundation (GWYL) needed an online resource to share with their community to address this problem. The result, Work Care Factor: an interactive digital resource that debunks myths, tells local stories, displays local data, presents useful language around mental health, and offers a repository for HR resources and other policy documentation to support changes at a structural level.
Creating this website and the stories told on it included co-design with small businesses and young people in the Geelong and Colac region. Work Care Factor includes a variety of interactive content, including animated flowcharts, audio stories and an audio wall containing 35 minutes of audio interviews. The website is an ongoing project and continues to be developed into 2022 as part of the co-design process.
